What we offer.
-
High Level Coaching.
All of our coaches are either L1 or L2 CrossFit certified which means they have gone through rigorous training with a significant focus on form over everything. In other words, proper form during lifting is paramount in creating the desired stimulus during the workout and even more importantly preventing injury.
-
Supportive Environment.
We welcome all levels of fitness and encourage individual growth. It is a fact that you will get better results when working with a support community. The community has different levels of fitness with each individual excelling in different areas, allowing for gym partners or “swolemates” that will help challenge you during each workout in different ways.
-
Place to be Loud.
Unlike other “globo gyms” ours encourages dropping of weights as it is a necessary part of injury prevention when tough lifts are being attempted. Personal bests are celebrated with a “PR Bell” ringing and cheering each other on to finish strong is a necessity.
Frequently Asked Questions

CrossFit is a composed of three definitive elements: (1) constantly varied (2) functional movements, (3) performed at high intensity.
-
Will a marathon runner perform well at lifting a heavy objects? Will the strong man who lifts heavy weights run a mile? The way we want to train is to combine similar movements that don’t allow your body to get adjusted to it. We want to specialize in not specializing. Our goal is to increase your work capacity, your ability to do work, across broad time in any domain.
-
Functional movements are natural movements. Natural movements are movements that are not taught, they are innately performed (squat, jump, press). The movements that we perform inside the gym are designed to mimic movements outside of the gym.
-
The 9 Foundational Movements of CrossFit are: squat, front squat, overhead squat, press, push press, push jerk, deadlift, medicine ball clean and sumo deadlift high pull. All these movements are covered in our foundations class.

We don’t care what level of physical conditioning you are in to start as it is our goal is to elevate you. Each workout can be “scaled” to meet your individual fitness level. In other words, if you can’t do a push-up, we will scale to wall push-ups.
