I was involved in competitive cheerleading growing up, but mostly I did not like to exercise. I hated the feeling of being out of breath and thinking about doing physical activities with friends (kayaking, hiking, doing a fun run) filled me with dread and panic instead of excitement. When my wife, Dee, and I moved to Western Massachusetts in 2017, it took me about 4 different attempts at CrossFit before it clicked for me. I began to find that in addition to the physical benefits of CrossFit, it gave me a way to manage my stress and connect on a social level. Living far away from home and working in an industry as demanding as manufacturing, CrossFit has become a rock in my life and has given me the confidence to branch out into other physical activities as well.
I look forward to helping others, no matter where they are in their fitness. Whether you're a beginner working on squatting with a barbell for the first time or a seasoned athlete who needs great music to push them to achieve a personal record, I want to help. I truly think that CrossFit is an excellent foundation for health, and I am honored to be a part of that journey.
